In the early parts of the play, it is clear that Torvald likes to dominate even though he claims that he loves Nora. the setting and the plot show the patriarchal system in society.

The questions are taken from the story "A Doll's House." Nora and Torvald are happily married but the gender roles show that Torvald always wants to see Nora in a lower position than him, both in terms of power and intellect.

Nora starts working to support her husband financially but she doesn't tell him because according to our society, a woman can't earn like a man. An earning man is a sign of strength.

The plot reveals that when Nora tells Torvald that she took a loan and she is earning, she did not get any appreciation from Torvald.
