The buzz from chatty, eager shoppers nearly drowns out the soft music playing throughout the mall. Elena’s hair is pulled back into a ponytail, and she is wearing the green dress she received for her birthday. Isabel is wearing jeans and a yellow blouse.] Elena: [Elena studies a receipt.] Hey, the clerk forgot to charge me for one of these books. Isabel: Great! You got a free book, then.
