Cleansing
by Anonymous

Raindrops keep falling
To clean up the earth—
They wash away grime
So the earth can give birth
To flowers and seedlings
All around its great girth.

Tears wash away troubles
From way deep inside—
They cleanse our body
So no hurt can hide—
And help us adjust
To whate'er may betide.
