how come when an object is travelling at constant speed it is doing no work? i understand that the object has not net force and W=Fd, so if d=0 then work is zero, but i just dont understand it because if an object is moving it would be doing some kind of work right? if i was running at constant speed it would be good to know that i am doing some work.
would it mean that the object is not doing any 'new' work when it is travelling at constant speed? would it have doine some work in order to accelerate and reach that constant speed?
