Plasma cells are referred to as secretory cells that plays a role in the synthesis and secretion of immunoglobulin. These cells has the ability to produce a single type of antibody in a specific type of immunoglobulin. The B cells is specific to a single antigen. Each cell has the ability to produce many matching antibodies per second. Every plasma cells can divide to produce a clone repeatedly and can produce only one specific type of antibody.
