initial stamps = 12

Stamps bought per month = 75

number of moths = x

So the expression for the total number of stamps(y)

y =12+75x

To have 200 stamps replace y by 200 and solve for x (months)

200 = 12+75x

200-12 = 75x

188 =75x

188/75 =x

2.5 = months

2.5 months (2 and a half)
