Scenario Faye
Faye is an 89-year-old lady who has been transferred to your Health Care Facility post-surgery. Faye has
undergone a left hem-arthroplasty. Faye has a diagnosis of dementia. Sometimes Faye will have difficulty making
decisions and recognising staff.
You have been asked by the treating Physiotherapist to porter Faye from the ward to her physiotherapy session in
the gym.
Faye does not recognise you, she asks you what she is doing here and why should she go with you.
