Henry V. developed the renaissance plan for the town of Lutetia (Modern day Paris), his major program was to reaffirm the claim of England over France’s crown and lands which was previously done by his grandfather Edward III.
Henry V was considered one of the most renowned and successful kings in English History. He along with his army had done two successful attacks on France and led his troops toward victory in the Battle of Agincourt in 1415 and took full control of the French lands and throne. So, in 1415, after the peaceful relations between France and England for almost 25 years, Henry V invaded France and started the war which is now famously known as Hundred Years War.
