It is not necessary for every members of a particular species to must reproduce in order for the species to survive.

For a given species  to survive, not every individual needs to be able to reproduce. because as long as some of the individuals are reproducing the species number will be maintained enough so that it could survive.

Take homo sapiens (Humans) as an example. Many males and females worldwide are sterile and unable to procreate, yet the human species is still thriving.

Also, if we take ants and bees as an example it has a particular cast called reproductive caste which is able to reproduce and all other individuals have their certain assigned duties and still the queen only produce such huge amounts of eggs that they are still surviving.
