As a result, many American democratic values focus on founding principles such as rights and freedoms. Reread the excerpts from the Declaration of Independence and the Preamble (first paragraph). How do these seminal documents reflect American democratic values? Cite the section of the text that illustrates each principle provided, and list as many ways that are applicable.
