Answer :

The way that the North and South developed in terms of industry, agriculture and products include:

North:

  • Focused more on industrial production of finished goods.
  • Steadily moved from agriculture to industrialization.
  • Produced a variety of finished goods for domestic and international consumption.

South:

  • Less industrialized than the North.
  • Focused heavily on agriculture especially on cash crops.
  • Produced raw goods and farm produce that would then be sent to other regions for processing.

How did the North and the South differ economically?

The North moved steadily to the production of goods on an industrial scale which meant that they produced finished goods that cost more and went straight to the consumer. This made the North wealthier and more developed.

The South on the other hand, focused on agriculture and relied on enslaved labor to produce huge volumes of farm produce that they exported to the North and to Europe. This brought wealth in but it wasn't as much and it stayed in the hands of a few.
