If the number of texting-while-driving accidents begins to increase I would expect to see the media coverage change to being more negative because of a few reasons, The main reason I feel like it would be more negative is because Car accidents can be really dangerous. Not only that but depedending on how bad the accident is you could end up in the hospital, You could also cause serious inguries and you could possibly die. That would cause a negitive impact on social media because of people's anger after losing someone they loved and cared so much about. They would rant about how dangerous it is and how people should always pay attetion while driving. I also feel like it would make social media become more negitive because of the posting and re tweeting things once someone has passed. A lot of people seem to repost someones passing witht the words "RIP" and other things although the things they start to say are nice towards the end it can get to be pretty rude. Even though After a car accident someone passing postive things can spread around and they can warn others I feel like they would take it more to a negitive light and not a positive light. Those are main reasons why I feel as if the number of texting-while-driving accidents increase Social Media will be more negitive.
