Choose one of the essays assigned this week in They Say/I Say. Provide a brief summary of the essay in one paragraph, identifying the thesis statement, 3-4 major points supporting that argument, and the conclusion the author(s) present(s).

Following your summary, respond to the argument the author makes in the article you focus on. How did their argument offer a look into the reasons for attending college? Did it provide you with a different perspective on the topic than what you had before reading it? What are some connections you made, based on your experience or understanding of the issues raised?
