Arya. "Sorry I'm late, Arya. Is everything okay?"
"Everyone wants their story on the front page. I want
the paper to be the best it can be, but I also want my team
to be happy working on it."
"Well...perhaps there's a way to do both. You know you
don't have to organize the paper the same way each
week, right?"
Ms. Merley's words gave Arya a brilliant idea, and she
called everyone together to share it with them.
"We all get that there's only so much space on the
front page. So that's why we're going to rotate whose
story makes the front page for each edition. Every week it
will be someone new."
Immediately, her team perked up a little. "Seriously?"
Brandon asked, smiling.
Arya nodded. "We each have different jobs, but it takes
all of us to run the paper. I appreciate everyone's work,
and I want our readers to get a chance to appreciate it,
too."
