B. Ramp Relationships
A group of students chose to study how the
material of a ramp affected the speed of toy cars.
They took 5 identical toy cars and had them glide
down ramps set at 30° but with different surfaces:
wood, tile, plastic, carpet, and metal. They
measured the average time it took each car to run
own each ramp and compared them.
