For this Discussion, you will focus on three IAPs. One of them must be the residents of Griffith Park and surrounding neighborhoods. You can choose which other two IAPs you’d like to focus on. You may choose from the list above or identify others.

For each IAP (Griffith park residents and the two you chose):

Describe their role in the Wildlife Crossing project. What did they do? For example, did they organize others to take action (either in favor of or opposed to the project), educate the general public about the problem, find or provide funding, develop or implement solutions (such as the architectural designs for the actual crossing), etc.?
Describe what motivated them to take the actions that you identified above. Why did they do what they did?

Write a paragraph in which you summarize your thoughts about the role of perspective-taking (“intellectual empathy”) and affective empathy (feeling what another feels) in accomplishing solutions to challenging environmental problems. To support your ideas, draw from the Wallis Annenberg Wildlife Crossing project and at least one other example involving multiple IAPs working together to solve an environmental problem. Also, be sure to include in-text citations and full references
