2. Write the number 45,035 as a Mayan numeral.
3. Make up an addition problem with at least one "carry" in bases 2-9 and 16.
4. Make up a subtraction problem with at least one “borrow" in bases 2-9 and 16.
5. Make up a 3-digit by 2-digit multiplication problem in bases 2-9 and 16.
6. Make up a division problem with a 2-digit divisor in bases 2-9 and 16.
For problems 3-6 you can check your work by converting both numbers to base-10, doing the
arithmetic, then converting back to the original base.
7. Solve the congruence by trial and error: 9 + x = 6 (mod 7).
