Did the NFL succeed in upholding these suspen-
sions in arbitration and in court? Were the
decisions fair? Did the decisions to suspend
these players enhance or hurt the leagues
image. Does the commissioner of the NFL have
too much power in these cases, or is this type
of authority necessary to police the actions of
athletes and employees in the league?
