Discussion Prompt 2
Some of the equivalence rules that you learned about in this course are called DeMorgan's Laws, which were named after the logician and mathematician Augustus De Morgan. Like Buridan, De Morgan had a quirky sense of humor. For example, when someone once asked him how old he was, De Morgan replied, "I was x years old in the year x2."
2a) What year was x2?
2b) How old was De Morgan that year?
Very helpful hint: De Morgan was born in the year 1806 and died in the year 1871.
