Prepare a discussion board post arguing either:
1) the validity of the Whiskey Tax and the military response to southern whiskey producers
OR
2) in favor of citizen groups protesting a federal law (sometimes not peacefully)

In your post, clearly address if you believe the tax was fair and why/why not. What responsibility citizens have to follow federal laws? What responsibility does the government have to pass laws that the people consent to following? How should the American government respond to protests (then and now)? Do you think the Whiskey Tax protestors protested appropriately and why/why not?
