1. In lesson 3, you found data from reputable sources on just how many teens are using drugs. You also provided a list of reasons why you believe "most" teens are not using drugs and what they are choosing to do instead. Refer to this data and include in the following tasks. 2. Use this information to design an advertisement that you could use in a drug free campaign at your school or in your community. It can be a video, podcast, flyer or brochure that describes the real facts associated with teen drug use including the number abusing substances, the risks with doing so and why most teens are not using (what are they doing instead). 3. Make sure your advertisement has a slogan or hook to get the attention of your audience (your peers), include music and/or images to enhance your persuasive advertisement. You may refer to the various advertising techniques described in earlier lessons if you need a refresher! You are convincing your peers that drug use is not the norm. 4. Include all components and submit.
