Newly-minted UIUC Associate Professor J. Spring is studying a new toxin, called BdrodnT, produced by the pathogen Minnesotious badgerious, which causes crazy badger disease. In order to identify the activity of the BdrodnT, Professor Spring conducts biochemical studies with purified toxin. While conducting biochemical analyses of mammalian cells that had been treated with BdrodnT, Professor Spring discovers that mammalian cells had become depleted in plasma membrane phosphatidylcholine, while retaining cellular levels of carbohydrates, DNA, RNA, vitamins, proteins and ATP. Based on these data alone, briefly describe what kind of toxin that BdrodnT is, and what kind of biochemical activity the toxin likely exerts on mammalian cells. (only the first answer given will be accepted).BrodnT most likely is an exoenzyme that catalyzes the degradation of membrane lipids/phospholipids
