HOW DOES THIS UNIT AFFECT YOU & YOUR FUTURE. One way in which I could have really used some knowledge in 1D kinematics while I was in high school was when I was once pulled over. The police officer told me the impressive speed which they had to use to catch up to me. At the time I was taken aback at being pulled over and was not thinking straight, but . . . Of course they had to go fast to catch up to me. IF we were both going the speed limit, she would have never caught up to me. Anyway. Surely, you can relate speed, velocity, acceleration, instantaneous speed, etc, to something in your present life or future career.
