1. Rewrite the scene from pages 106 to 111 (where Mary Warren tries to reveal the truth and Abigail turns on her by accusing her of being a witch) as a modern day adaptation, as a script. (Imagine there was some sort of trial or judgement for a character in a high school setting.)
Make changes to the scene as you see fit and try to make our characters fit into the modern day.

2. Add a new character to the scene that represents a different kind of character.
This character can be completely original and just has to be different than the rest of characters that we see,

Write two paragraphs describing this character and how they would change the story. How would they feel about the conflict in this scene?

3. In one paragraph, predict how this situation will end in the final Act of our story.
