Write your favorite adage from Ben Franklin's Poor Richard's Almanac, pp. 33-34. Include a citation for the adage like this:

Ben Franklin's adage about bedtimes is as follows:

"Early to bed and early to rise, makes a man healthy, wealthy, and wise" (Holdren 33).

Explain what it means in a compound sentence, and tell why it is your favorite adage in a complex sentence. This assignment should have 3 sentences at least.

The expectation is this:

1) Write the adage - it is preferred that you choose a different one than the first one. If you choose the "Early to bed..." then you may be lacking in industry.

2) 2nd sentence should be COMPOUND.

3) 3rd sentence should be COMPLEX.

If you change the order, be sure to label your sentence as complex or compound. It is fine if you write more than 3 sentences; however, label the sentences you want me to grade as compound or complex.
