Purpose to investigate a problem on projectile motion. Problem:
A cannonball is fired horizontally at a speed of 10 m/s from a 10-m high cliff. (Ignore air resistance)
1. Calculate the time it takes the cannonball to hit a target on the ground.
3. Calculate the horizontal distance travelled by the cannonball by the time it reaches the target. 4. Calculate the magnitude of the velocity and the angle made by the velocity vector with the horizontal just before the cannonball hit the target.
(I need help with 4)
5. Run the simulation below to confirm your predictions. Insert a screenshot of the simulation here.
