Course: AMH 3571 Introduction to African American History

Instructions: Write a one-page reflection essay about the course and your progress so far this semester. In your reflection
essay, you might address some of the following questions:

1. What skills have I learned so far this semester?
2• What kind of effort have I put into the course?
3• How would I describe the quality of my work?
4• Have there been any unexpected hurdles or difficulties?
5• Have I asked questions or reached out to Professor Rogers when I was confused, lost, or struggling?
6• In what ways have I shown growth as a student and as a person?
7• Are there things I would like to see more or less of in the course? (Sorry, existing assignments and readings are not going away!)

The goals of this assignment are to: [1] give you an opportunity to assess your own performance in the course, and [2] give Professor Rogers greater insight into your perceptions of the course.
