budget, you decide to apply for financing. After thirty-seven months, you forget to make
the $76 required payment, but vow to yourself to pay double next month. Month thirty-
eight is December and holiday shopping clouds your vision and eats into your budget.
You promise yourself that with that tax refund coming soon, you will get caught up, and
still continue to pay (only) the monthly minimum payment. After a few more months
have passed, the missed payment is now a distant memory. Flash forward to the end of
the term and you happily make your "final" payment. However, you are emailed a bill in
