After you watch the videos, we’re going back to the BLS! See if you can find each of the interviewee’s careers in the Bureau of Labor Statistics’ Occupational Outlook Handbook.
Using the videos and the handbook as your source, create a digital brochure designed for students. The purpose of your brochure is to show how they might use math in the future! Feature the three careers that you learned about. Point out how another interest worked together with math in achieving each person’s goal. On each page, you could create a title based on the quality or interest that the interviewee said they had. You could title your page something like “If you like ____, then check out ____.”
