Now that you’ve learned about different points of view among colonists faced with the decision to support independence or remain a part of Great Britain, it’s time to apply what you learned. Pretend you have been hired by a news show to produce a segment on points of view on independence. You will need to write a script in which the newscasters explain the motivations and points of view that various populations had about remaining loyal to Britain, joining the Patriot cause, or choosing neutrality. In your script, be sure to include the following populations:
• Patriots
• Loyalists
• Native Americans
• Women
• Free and enslaved Blacks
In your writing, be sure to include and analyze direct quotes from the writings of Thomas Paine, Patrick Henry, Mercy Otis Warren, and Phillis Wheatley to support either their or other’s viewpoints or motivations.

P.s. pls make it sound like an 8th grade level script. Much appreciated!
