11. A team of scientists studied the behaviors of rabbits. They looked at two kinds of behaviors:
exploratory and locomotor. Some exploratory behaviors were sitting up, looking around, and
sniffing. Some locomotor behaviors were running, jumping, and trying to escape. They also
noted when rabbits had positive interactions with other rabbits. For example, a positive
interaction could be nuzzling or grooming other rabbits.
The scientists then analyzed the data. They compared the number of each type of behavior with
the number of positive interactions the rabbits had. The scientists were looking for a possible
connection between behaviors and positive interactions. The scatterplots below show their
data.
