On the slide below, you will write a brief news article (at least 10 sentences) highlighting a social issue you find to be relevant today. Within your article, you need to focus on answering these questions: What is the problem? What caused the problem? Who in particular does it affect? What should be done about it?

In order to write your article, you’ll need to research and find some information from outside sources. Please be sure to list your sources within your article (For example: According to Joe Smith from the Cy Fair ISD, “The problem among the student population has become overwhelming.”)

Your muckraking article needs to include a picture. It can be a generic photo pertaining to the topic you chose. If you chose to take a picture with your own device to include, please make sure to not use a picture of an individual that has not given permission.
