Chapter 2 Alternative Assessment
1. You and your friend are comparing the locations of the stores at a mall in your
city. Your friend describes the relative locations of some of the mall stores in the
following way.
The clothing store C is located along Hallway 1. The food court F
is due east of the clothing store along Hallway 1. The music store M
is northeast of the food court so that LCFM is obtuse. The food court
and music store are along Hallway 2. The bookstore B is southeast of
the food court so that LMFB is acute. The food court and bookstore
are along Hallway 3. The shoe store S is due east of the food court on
Hallway 1.
