How can greed change a person? How is it that a possession or the quest of a
possession can make a person into something they are normally not? What is it
about protecting what we have that makes people do things that are hurtful,
uncharacteristic, or self-harming? How come a person can lose their whole focus
and sense of reason in the face of greed and avarice?
