Please read Piven and Cloward's chapter (document above) and then write three full and fully developed paragraphs with your critical reflection of the reading. Each paragraph should have a topic sentence, at least one sentence with evidence to support the topic, and a concluding or transition sentence.The post should be thoughtful and focus on your reflection on the reading. Your reflection might include 1) the strengths and weaknesses of the readings (explaining why they are helpful, informative, or uninformative etc.); 2) how each reading relates to the theoretical, political, or other issues that have been examined in earlier readings and videos; 3) critical questions that are raised (in terms of theory, policy, or your own experience) and/or; 4) other issues you feel are important. It should take you between 1 and 2 hours to complete the posts.
