Ex. The EMU APO chapter is holding a raffle to raise money. Tickets are $5 each and the sell 1000 tickets. There is one grand prize of a $250 REI gift
card, two $50 Amazon gift cards, and ten $10 Smash Burger gift cards. Your friend bought a ticket but forgot they needed money for lunch. They
want you to buy it. You already bought one and don't really want another. You know you will most likely lose. How much should you buy it for?
Expected Value: the net win or lose of any probability event that has a value ($, points, etc.), averaged out over many rounds.
