In this unit, you will investigate some real-world scenarios which can be modeled through logarithmic functions. In particular, we'll investigate three phenomena using logarithmic models: magnitude of earthquakesintensity of sound, and pH (or acidity) of substances. Research online and find an additional scenario not mentioned above that uses logarithmic functions, and explain why it is beneficial to your everyday life.
