Write a letter that critiques a story with a complex plot structure. Direct your letter to
the authors or the developers who created the story. The focus of your critique
should be how successfully the plot furthers the story's purpose or goal, although
you may discuss characterization, theme, and other concepts explored in the lesson
as long as you ultimately tie them in to your discussion of the plot.
Finally, you must choose a story with a complex plot structure: one with flashbacks,
an in medias'res opening, an order of events that is not chronological, or other
features that don't follow traditional plot structure as shown in Freytag's pyramid.
Your assignment should include the following elements:
