PROJECT: SELF-EVALUATION QUIZ
Here is your goal for this project:
Complete a self-reflection activity.
Identify areas of strength related to your emotions, your spiritual growth, your physical body, and your mind.
Identify areas for growth related to your emotions, your spiritual growth, your physical body, and your mind.
Choose Bible verses that inspire you to grow in your personal life.
Read Luke 10:27. It reminds us to love God with all of our heart, soul, strength, and mind, and to love our neighbors as we love ourselves. While this message is delivered in the New Testament by both Matthew and Mark, it is interesting to remember that Luke was the beloved physician. Trained as a doctor, his writings reflect the physical body as well as the spiritual.
While this project will be completed and turned into your teacher at this time, continuing to prayerfully reflect on these verses and growing in them is a long-term commitment that will bring personal growth today, tomorrow, and throughout your life as a Christian.
Examine each of the following areas of your life.
Heart (our emotions and will)
Soul (our spiritual desire and growth)
Strength (our physical body, exercise, care, and hygiene)
Mind (our knowledge and learning)
Identify something that you are already doing that brings growth in each area. Select or locate a Bible verse that inspires you in each area, and identify a goal that you plan to apply for each area.
Once you have identified your key points for each area, use your digital tools to create a project that reflects your answers.
You may wish to create a simple chart on a word document, you may wish to write a journal entry, a letter to yourself, or you may wish to create a Powerpoint presentation. If you create a presentation, consider adding art and images to your presentation to personalize it and to make it a reflection of you.
You will share this project with your teacher, and you may wish to revisit it over time to identify goals that you have accomplished or to find new areas for continued growth.
