Cathie takes 3x minutes take time to paint the room.

in 1 minute 1/3x part of room  paint by Cathie

they take 60 minute  to paint a room all three working together

in 1minute 1/x+ 1/2x+ 1/3x parts

in 60 minute = ( 1/x+1/2x+ 1/3x) 60 =1 room
