Two trains are initially 60 miles apart on the same segment of a long straight track and each train is moving towards the other one at a constant speed of 30 miles per hour. A bird that can fly at 60 miles per hour starts out from one train and flies towards the other train. When the bird reaches the second train it immediately turns around and flies back towards the first train. If the bird keeps on flying back and forth between the trains like this, what is the total distance it will have flown by the time the trains meet? Neglect any time the bird may lose in turning around and any size the bird may have.
