Recently, you completed an assignment comparing the foreign policies of George Washington, John Adams, and Thomas Jefferson. Decide which of these presidents’ strategies represents the most wise and sensible approach to dealing with other nations, and explain why you think so. Then, describe a contemporary example of a foreign policy issue (something from the last 10-12 years), and explain how that situation might (or might not) benefit from an early president’s foreign policy approach.
