One time I made a friend when I was young, my brother and I were at the park with some of our friends, some of our friends went home and if I remember it was just me, my brother, and our friend Miguel. We were eating food and 2 kids were lost they looked a little bit younger than us, maybe a year younger.

We went up to them and we played with them around the park for hours and we were leaving, they said they didn't have rides home and their home is to far from the park. We told them they can walk with us to my house and we would ask my dad if we could take them home, my dad nor my mom was home so we went inside and just played some video games. Eventually my dad came home and said he would take then home. We all went to take them home but my dad took us to get pizza first, we became even more happy. We arrived at there house and dropped them off and their grandfather thanked us because he couldn't drive.


We ended up going to the same school the next year and playing football together on the same team for 2 years, we ended up being friends for a long time with them. We would hang out at each others houses after school a lot but mainly mine since it was closer to the school then theirs. I would ask my dad to take us places on the weekend when he could and we would all go places, fun places, even out of town a couple of times. We did really everything together, most likely spent 18 hours a day together.

What I learned about making an " unexpected " friend is, be nice to people and help people and it would build friendships with people.
