The process of urine formation starts in the glomerulus where the blood is filtered initially. Then it goes to proximal convulated tubule for re-absorption. It then passes through the loop of henle where it gets concentrated and selective absorption also occurs.

Then it enters into distal convulated tubule for selective secretion. After that it enters the collecting duct where water and solutes are reabsorbed.

It then passes into minor renal calyx which is a part of the renal pelvis which empties into the ureter and stored in the urinary bladder for removal.
