What is empathy?

Empathy refers to the attribute of a person that seeks to understand and shares how other feels. In other words, showing empathy is like putting oneself in another person's shoes.

Jamal may not fully understand what he did or consider it as anything harmful. However, in order to understand the situation, he will do well by first putting himself in the place of Dario's neighbour.

By doing so, he will get a feel of what Dario's  neighbour  felt when he discovered that the person that treated him posted about it on a social medium.
