From reading the excerpt from Giglamesh we got to know that Lord Shamash will help Gilgamesh defeat Humbaba.

Gilgamesh and Enkidu are characters from the Mesopotamian poem "Epic of Gilgamesh". Although started as rivals, the 2 become best friends popping out to several adventures, as well as fight with Humbaba, amongst others.

Stating that Gilgamesh's dream of a big bull was "favorable" which the bull represents Shamash who "in each danger can return to our aid", Enkidu reveals that the Lord Sha is on their aspect which can facilitate them fight and defeat Humbaba.
